Due to the recent heavy rainfall our home ground oval at Sunnybank High School is absolutely soaked. We will be unable to have any kind of rides/ jumping castle on the area for at least 2 weeks from when the rain eases.
We have therefore decided to reschedule our AGM and Presentation Day to Saturday 07 March. The day lies between the weekends of LAQ McDonalds Combined Championships and LAQ State Championships.
The 2019/2020 AGM and Trophy Presentation Day will take place at our SLAC home ground of Sunnybank High School(oval) on Saturday 15 Feb 2020 from 3:00 pm. Please check your emails for your invitation and RSVP as soon as possible to ensure your family is catered for and athletes don’t miss out on their trophy/medals
As always the safety of our athletes and the comfort of our families is our priority. Todays centre competition is cancelled due to the wet grounds, the high chance of further rain and the possibility of an afternoon storm.
There will be no centre training on Sunday, we’ll be at our Bunnings BBQ at the Acacia Ridge store from 0700 instead!
Come on down and support our fund raising BBQ everyone, we’re fund raising for a new equipment trailer and we’d love to see you all. We’ll be there all day, cooking up a storm and having a great time, don’t miss out!!
Training at QSAC this week will be on Tuesday night instead of Thursday, time 1800 – 1900. The change is for this week only, due to coach availability.
Training tomorrow will be at QSAC, 0900 – 1030, meet Bryan and Isabel at the high jump mats (southern end), SAF (outside track). $5 entry fee required.
Apologies everyone, due to unavailability of coaches, training for Sunday this week is cancelled. We will endeavour to ensure training is conducted Wednesdays and Sundays each week for the remainder of the season.
Commencing Saturday 03 August our Centre Tiny Tots Program will run from 2:00 – 3:00 pm
12:30 – 1:00 pm for Information, trialists and registrations. 1:00 pm start for the afternoon program. Our aim is to start on time and continue that way for the season, please be punctual to assist the centre program to run smoothly for all families
